Bayer Leverkusen's Javier Hernandez to miss vs. Ingolstadt with calf injury

Bayer Leverkusen forward Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez has a calf injury and will miss final Bundesliga season game against Ingolstadt on Saturday, the club have confirmed.

Leverkusen sit in third place in the Bundesliga table and have already secured qualification for Champions League next season.

"He will definitely miss the match. He's got problems with his calf," said coach Roger Schmidt during Friday's news conference.

The Mexico international joined Leverkusen on a three-year contract last summer after spending a season on loan from Manchester United to Real Madrid and under Carlo Ancelotti. Since joining he has gone on to score 17 Bundesliga goals in 26 matches, playing regularly after spending most of his seasons under Louis van Gaal and then Ancelotti relegated to the bench.
