Leicester City aren't making history -- but are still relevant

Leicester City travel to Anfield Saturday to take on Liverpool, and it's tempting to view this match as an important potential turning point for last year's champions. A win on the road against Liverpool and Leicester's underwhelming four points from three games start to the season will soon be forgotten. A loss, and the questions will persist. Just how much of a fluke was last year? Can Leicester City really compete with the big boys two years in a row? With four points from four games, the questions will shift from how high the underdogs can climb to how far can they tumble. The reality of course is that four games is only a little more than 10% of the season, and whatever happens this weekend, good or bad, there's plenty of time to overcome. What the weekend match does highlight, though, is just how broad a set of outcomes seem possible for Leicester City this season. Everything from "contender at the top of the table" to "relegation-threatened one-hit wonder" seems like it could theoretically be in play.
