Clarence Seedorf keen to coach in Premier League

Former AC Milan boss Clarence Seedorf says he is open to offers and would be interested in managing in the Premier League.

Seedorf, 39, had a brief spell as Milan boss last year before being dismissed after failing to guide the club into Europe.

The former Netherlands international has since been linked with a number of jobs, including the Dutch national team and Galatasaray, and he confirmed he is keen to return to management.

"If there is a good project I would be happy to consider it," Seedorf told BBC Sport. "There are a lot of rumours about my next job but to be linked with important clubs is a nice feeling and it is always better to have options than to not have options at all."

Seedorf enjoyed an impressive playing career with clubs including Ajax, Real Madrid, Inter and AC Milan but never played in the Premier League.

He hopes to get the chance to experience English football as a coach, however.

"England and I have a particular story -- I was close to going to play there many times," he said.

"It never happened, so as a coach it would be great to experience English football and fans on a weekly basis."
