Arsene Wenger urges Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho to show respect

LONDON -- Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has urged Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho to show more respect towards his rivals as the war of words between the pair continued.

Sunday's 0-0 draw between Arsenal and Chelsea at the Emirates Stadium ended with the home fans chanting "boring, boring Chelsea" as Mourinho's men took another step towards clinching the Premier League title.

Mourinho, who labelled Wenger a "specialist in failure" last year, responded to those chants by telling reporters: "You know, I think boring is 10 years without a title. That's very boring."

Wenger, who pushed Mourinho on the touchline during October's 2-0 defeat to Chelsea, said it was important to show respect.

"The biggest thing of managers is to respect each other and some people have to improve on that," Wenger said when asked about the remarks. "Everybody lives with his own internal problems and I live with mine. That's enough.

"You can have incidents with other managers at times. It can get a bit heated when you fight directly with them at times. In the end, I believe time heals and what is the most important is to respect each other as much as you can."
