QPR director of football Les Ferdinand faces FA misconduct charge

Queens Park Rangers director of football Les Ferdinand has been charged with misconduct by the FA following his reaction after Tottenham's 2-1 victory at Loftus Road on March 7.

A statement on the FA's official website read: "Les Ferdinand has been charged by The FA for misconduct in relation to the Queens Park Rangers game against Tottenham Hotspur on March 7, 2015.

"It is alleged that Ferdinand, director of football at QPR, used abusive and/or insulting words and/or behaviour towards a Match Official in or around the tunnel area after the end of the fixture.

"He has until 6 p.m. on March 13, 2015 to respond to the charge."

Harry Kane scored a brace with a brace to put Spurs two goals ahead at Loftus Road last Sunday, with Sandro's goal 15 minutes from time not enough for the struggling west London side.

Mauricio Isla, Bobby Zamora and Charlie Austin all saw penalty appeals turned away by referee Craig Pawson, and QPR boss Chris Ramsey questioned a number of decisions made by the match officials.

Ramsey said: "Sometimes there are decisions that are fine lines, but I think when you're fighting for every point like we are, you have to try to grab on to anything you can.

"Momentum always changes with goals, you know that, so I am very disappointed that we couldn't get at least one of those decisions."
