Dzeko, Kolarov back for Man City vs. Everton, Kompany, Silva, Jovetic out

MANCHESTER -- Edin Dzeko and Aleksandar Kolarov are fit again for Manchester City but the Premier League champions will face Everton without the injured trio of Vincent Kompany, David Silva and Stevan Jovetic.

And they face an anxious wait to see if captain Kompany will be fit for Wednesday's vital Champions League game against Roma.

Manager Manuel Pellegrini suggested Silva ought to be fit for the game in the Stadio Olimpico by saying he could have risked the midfielder against Everton.

Striker Dzeko has been out for four weeks since suffering a calf injury in City's 2-2 draw at QPR, while left-back Kolarov sustained a calf muscle problem in the warm-up before the Manchester derby win.

"Dzeko and Kolarov are in the squad list," Pellegrini said in Friday's pregame news conference. "Edin is 100 percent, he doesn't have any problem.

"Maybe with a risk, Silva could be also [included] but I don't think it is good for him to take a risk in the last days of his recovery so we will see if he can be [fit] against Roma."

Defender Kompany, who sustained his calf problem in the closing minutes of City's 3-0 win at Southampton, will face a fitness test early next week before determining if he travels to Italy.

"Vincent is not in the squad list," Pellegrini said. "He is working. Maybe we have a last test with him on Monday or Tuesday to decide."

Both he and Silva could be in the City squad for the Roma game, with Pellegrini explaining: "We don't know how much about of possibility [it is] but it is possible."

Yaya Toure missed training on Friday but Pellegrini confirmed the central midfielder, who is standing in for Kompany as captain, will be available.

Pellegrini added: "Yaya didn't work but it is just a precaution. He doesn't have any problems. He is in the squad list."

Jovetic -- who scored in Wednesday's 4-1 win over Sunderland -- has a knock, while Pellegrini will be able to recall defender Eliaquim Mangala after he served a one-match suspension following his red card at St Mary's.
