Carl Jenkinson attracting interest of Hull

Carl Jenkinson has not made the breakthrough to the first-team.

Several clubs are interested in securing the signing of Arsenal's Carl Jenkinson should he decide to go out on loan this summer.

Jenkinson, 22, is behind Mathieu Debuchy in the pecking order at right-back and could fall further down if the Gunners complete a deal for Southampton's 19-year-old defender Callum Chambers. The youngster is reportedly on the verge of a move that could cost Arsenal around 16 million pounds.

However, Jenkinson wants first-team football and could stay in the Premier League with plenty of sides interested in him, notably Hull.

"I had a conversation with Arsenal about four or five weeks ago to see if it was possible," Hull boss Steve Bruce told Sky Sports. "And apparantly so, it might be. We'll look at that situation but we haven't had confirmation from Arsenal."
