Cross: Race for fourth will go to the wire

Wenger's current contract is due to expire in the summer and he has yet to agree to an extension.

The Frenchman has been in charge of the Gunners since 1996 and he has suggested he will prolong his time at Emirates Stadium.

Asked in an interview with beIN Sports, broadcast on TalkSPORT, whether he would stay or go at the end of the season, Wenger replied: "Look, I have said that many times already, I have given my word to this club and that I want to continue where I am.... that means to stay."

Wenger's Arsenal are in action on Monday when they host Newcastle looking to maintain their return to form as they aim to clinch Champions League qualification.
