When asked about the fitness of Terry, who suffered injury in the club’s goalless semifinal first leg against Atletico Madrid, Mourinho said: “He doesn't make this weekend, and I don't think he can make next week. But let's wait. All of the others are injured.” Regarding Hazard, Mourinho added: “Out for Sunday, and I don't think for Wednesday. But let's wait.” Mourinho was also asked about some of the fervour around Liverpool’s title charge, but was reluctant to praise them too much. When it was put to him that Rodgers’s side are the neutral’s choice the Chelsea manager expressed surprise. He said: “A lot of neutrals? Okay. I stick with the neutrals. I'm not neutral, I'm Chelsea.” Mourinho was also asked about Gerrard “deserving” to finally win the league for the first time. He said: “Why? So many big players never won. I don't think there's an answer I can have.” Mourinho did reject a question on whether Rodgers was a better manager because of his previous work as a coach at Chelsea under the Portuguese. “No. I think he's a good manager because of himself,” he said. “He has the credit of every manager. When things go well the manager is one of the responsible, one of the responsible. When things go wrong, he is responsible.”
