Premier Showdown - March 15-16

Danny Swain cruised to victory in our mini-round of Showdown last weekend to give the Rest of the World team some hope of a late title challenge.

Looking to make it back to back wins for the ROTW this weekend is Jorge Alvarez who comes from Marion, Ohio in the United States.

He tells Showdown: "By now you know my name so I'll just tell you about myself. I'm 16 years old and I love and will always support Manchester United. Even though this season has been terrible I support David Moyes. I don't have a job so I watch every Premier League match. So you can imagine that I know my teams.

"One thing for sure is that the Premier League is so unpredictable! So I want to challenge YOU EXPERTS!"

Game on!

For each round of matches we invite someone to represent the Rest of the World and take on ESPN FC TV's Tommy Smyth and ESPN FC journalist Dale Johnson in our predictions game.

Points are then awarded as follows:
- Three points for a correct result and scoreline
- One point for a correct result

After the weekend's scores are in and the Showdown result has been worked out, the winning pundit receives three points for their season's total Should the challenger win, the total is added to the Rest of the World tally. In the case of a draw, the points are shared.

We want your entries for the next round of games - so get your selections in now!

So Dale gets the victory in a low-scoring round and pulls level with the Rest of the World again. Eight rounds of Showdown left to go and Tommy still has a three-round advantage of three points. Surely he can see this out and retain his crown?
