Mourinho swipe at 'kings of penalties'

Jose Mourinho has taken a swipe at Chelsea's Premier League rivals by insisting one of them has become "the king of penalties."

Liverpool's Luis Suarez has been heavily criticised for how easily he appears to go to ground in the area and regularly left his team embroiled in controversy as a result.

"You know the kings of the penalties, you know where they are -- and they're not here," Mourinho said in the Mirror, after defending a seemingly soft penalty won after Samuel Eto'o he went down under Younes Kaboul's challenge in Chelsea's 4-0 win against Tottenham on Saturday.

"We had a big opportunity in the second minute of the game [against Tottenham], when other players with other shirts would go for a penalty and a red card for the keeper.

"[Eden] Hazard doesn't do that. He tries to go away from the keeper and he misses from a difficult angle, but other players in this league, in that situation, they attack the keeper. I did not see a video of Eto'o and the penalty but I want to."

Mourinho can relax this week with Chelsea top of the Premier League and on the periphery of the action with Arsenal and Manchester City trying to overturn 2-0 first-leg Champions League defeats against Europe's best sides.

But he insists Arsenal can go to Bayern Munich and City to Barcelona and stay in the competition.

"Can't City win in Barcelona?" he asked. "Barcelona lost against Valladolid and lost at home against Valencia. So, why can't they [City] win?

"Arsenal, at Bayern, can they win 2-0 and go to extra-time? Difficult. Probably the most difficult, but they can."
