Premier Showdown - February 8-9

Rachel McDonald steamed in at the last to take the three points again for the Rest of the World at the weekend -- which means after three consecutive wins they are level on points with Dale Johnson!

Tommy Smyth still has a comfortable lead at the top, but now the ROTW have got to within two games of him. What a turnaround!

Football's coming home this weekend as taking on Dale and Tommy is Sam Harris who is based in the Westminster area of London.

He tells Showdown: "Hello. My name is Sam and I'm 34 years old. I am a Liverpool supporter and my job is a maths teacher. These are my predictions! I am backing Liverpool for a win! Come on Liverpool!"

Game on!

For each round of matches we invite someone to represent the Rest of the World and take on  ESPN FC TV's Tommy Smyth and ESPN FC journalist Dale Johnson in our predictions game.

Points are then awarded as follows:
- Three points for a correct result and scoreline
- One point for a correct result

After the weekend's scores are in and the Showdown result has been worked out, the winning pundit receives three points for their season's total Should the challenger win, the total is added to the Rest of the World tally. In the case of a draw, the points are shared.

We want your entries for the next round of games - so get your selections in now!

It was a blank Sunday so Sam holds onto his lead meaning it's now FOUR wins in a row for the Rest of the World. They are coming to get Tommy!
