Fabregas: Ref had a bad day

Wilfried Zaha racially abused on Twitter

Manchester United winger Wilfried Zaha has been racially abused on Twitter and the perpetrator has been reported to the police by an anti-racism body.

Wilfried Zaha has denied criticising David Moyes.

Ole: Zaha can emulate Ronaldo

Zaha, who is on loan at Cardiff, was the subject of one of several messages that Kick It Out believes the authorities ought to investigate.

Kick It Out tweeted: “Kick It Out is reporting a number of racist messages published on Twitter this evening, including one directed @wilfriedzaha, to Police.”

Meanwhile, Zaha denied using Instagram to criticise United manager David Moyes.

The England international, who signed for 15 million pounds from Crystal Palace, only made four appearances for them and played just 28 minutes of Premier League football before joining Cardiff last month.

And he published a picture of himself with City manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, which was captioned: “Nothing like someone who believes you.”

After being on the receiving end of a backlash from United supporters, though, he moved to clarify his comment.

He wrote: "My picture actually meant ole solskjaer has a lot faith for me to do something for cardiff's current position. My last Instagram picture was not intended as a dig or indirect at my manager, I have nothing but respect."
