Premier Showdown - December 7-9

A storming performance from William Wu in our midweek round, as he coasted to victory to get the Rest of the World team back on track with 11 points.

The ROTW now have Tommy Smyth in their sights, and looking to pull them level with him is Kabelo Nyamambi who comes from Botswana.

Kabelo tells us: " I'm from Botswana in southern Africa and a big supporter of Chelsea FC. I'm 38 years old and work as a business development executive for the Civil Aviation Authority of Botswana."

Game on!

For each round of matches we invite someone to represent the Rest of the World and take on  ESPN FC TV's Tommy Smyth and ESPN FC journalist Dale Johnson in our predictions game.

Points are then awarded as follows:
- Three points for a correct result and scoreline
- One point for a correct result

After the weekend's scores are in and the Showdown result has been worked out, the winning pundit receives three points for their season's total Should the challenger win, the total is added to the Rest of the World tally. In the case of a draw, the points are shared.

We want your entries for the first weekend of the season - so get your selections in now!

Tommy ends his poor run of form and storms to victory - he's back to within touching distance of Dale!
