Premier Showdown - Nov 30 - Dec 1

A great battle between Dale Johnson and the Rest of the World last weekend - and the two just could not be separated. Two correct scorelines and double figures too with a 10-10 draw. But what is happening to Tommy Smyth?

We are heading to the United States this weekend and it's Dave Jones who is in the chair.

Dave tells Showdown: " I am 42 and was born in Liverpool before I moved to the States to marry a native in 2010. We have a beautiful 15-month old daughter. I was at Liverpool's Academy for three years when I was younger in the days when Bob Paisley handed the reins over to Joe Fagan and Ian Rush was knocking goals in for fun!

"I continued to play non-league football for various clubs when I left Liverpool FC, up until I was 26 when I tore my ACL & MCL. I am an insurance broker by trade however I have taken a hiatus since my daughter was born so looking after her full time. I am a Liverpool FC fan... it is my religion!"

Game on!

For each round of matches we invite someone to represent the Rest of the World and take on  ESPN FC TV's Tommy Smyth and ESPN FC journalist Dale Johnson in our predictions game.

Points are then awarded as follows:
- Three points for a correct result and scoreline
- One point for a correct result

After the weekend's scores are in and the Showdown result has been worked out, the winning pundit receives three points for their season's total Should the challenger win, the total is added to the Rest of the World tally. In the case of a draw, the points are shared.

We want your entries for the first weekend of the season - so get your selections in now!

Dale's amazing run continues as he sneaks home ahead of Dave. And after being adrift at the bottom Dale is now starting to open up a gap at the top!
