Sergio Aguero ignores City exit talk

Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero has declared he is happy to stay at the club as he shrugged off speculation linking him with a return to Spain.

Sergio Aguero says City
Aguero once claimed he would never play for a team starting with the letter 'R', in reference to Racing and Real Madrid, the two bitter rivals of his first two clubs, Independiente and Atletico.

Aguero, 25, has been linked with Real Madrid throughout his City career, despite joining the 2012 Premier League champions from Atletico Madrid.

But the Argentina international, who has scored 12 times in his last 10 games for City, said he is enjoying life in Manchester and benefiting from playing in the Premier League.

"The truth is that I'm happy," he is quoted as saying in the Mirror. "The club treats me very well. It's very calm -- it's different to being in Spain or Argentina.

"I've always said that in every match, watching or training, you learn things. It's like in any job, you know what to do or not to do.

"The same happens on the pitch. You think where you have to attack, where you feel comfortable inside the area. It's like you read where you can make the centre-backs feel uncomfortable.

"You're always improving. English football, for example, being so fast, it allows you to develop your concentration and refine your technique. So every day you're learning and I feel that I still have plenty to learn.

"The only thing I do is enjoy football, rest, be at home and then go out or walk around or eat in peace.”
