Premier Showdown - October 5-6

A much-needed win for Dale Johnson, but it was hardly a glorious victory. Even so, it is his first outright victory this season and it moves him back to within touching distance of leader Tommy Smyth.

We're making a rare trip to Canada this weekend, with Aubrey Highland representing the ROTW.

Aubrey tells Showdown: "I am a Tottenham Hotspur supporter and have been since 1960. I am retired and am 72 years old. I emigrated to Canada from London in 1977."

For each round of matches we invite someone to represent the Rest of the World and take on  ESPN FC TV's Tommy Smyth and ESPN FC journalist Dale Johnson in our predictions game.

Points are then awarded as follows:
- Three points for a correct result and scoreline
- One point for a correct result

After the weekend's scores are in and the Showdown result has been worked out, the winning pundit receives three points for their season's total Should the challenger win, the total is added to the Rest of the World tally. In the case of a draw, the points are shared.

We want your entries for the first weekend of the season - so get your selections in now!

Another comfortable win for Tommy, who moves into the international break with a healthy lead.
