David Silva plays down Madrid link
David Silva has pledged his future to Manchester City after he was again linked with Real Madrid.

Reports in Spain have suggested that Silva, 27, is one of Madrid’s major targets as they plan to strengthen again next summer.
However, the Spain international, who joined City from Valencia in 2010, signed a five-year contract extension last September and has indicated he will not push for a move.
He told Cadena Cope: “I'm very happy in Manchester and I think this is similar to what happens every year. There are always rumours and, in the end, the player has to be calm. I renewed my contract because I am happy over there [in Manchester].”
Silva, who is originally from Tenerife but came through Valencia’s youth system, is thought to have interested Madrid before he joined City.
He has gone on to win the Premier League and the FA Cup for City since his arrival, scoring 20 goals in 148 games for the club.
