Ivanovic open to Suarez signing

Branislav Ivanovic insists he has moved on and has no ill feelings towards Luis Suarez after being bitten by the Liverpool striker in April and suggested he would not stand in the way of Chelsea making a play for the Uruguayan.

Luis Suarez: Given a ten-match ban for his bite on Ivanovic
Ivanovic has lauded Suarez's on-field talent

Suarez is currently serving a ten-match ban for biting Ivanovic during the 2-2 draw at Anfield and it is believed the incident could provide a barrier to Chelsea making a play for the striker.

As speculation over Suarez's future continues, Arsenal and Chelsea are reported to be realistic targets and Ivanovic was asked whether he would be open to the possibility of playing with the 26-year-old next season.

"About Luis Suarez, I said straight after the game [in April], whatever happened on the field finished there," Ivanovic said. "He's one of the best strikers in the Premier League. I don't have any problem with him or doubt about that."
