Canaries capture Fer from FC Twente
Norwich City have confirmed the arrival of Dutch midfielder Leroy Fer on a four-year deal from FC Twente.
Fer, 23, was a transfer target for Everton in January but his proposed move broke down and he ended up staying at Twente for the remainder of the season.
But the former Feyenoord player has finally sealed his switch to the Premier League, joining compatriot Ricky van Wolfswinkel at Carrow Road.
Norwich confirmed the move on Twitter, saying: "City can confirm Dutch international midfielder Leroy Fer has joined from FC Twente on a 4-year deal, subject to international clearance."
Fer, who has penned a four-year contract, becomes the Canaries’ sixth summer signing following the captures of Van Wilfswinkel, Nathan Redmond, Javier Garrido and Martin Olsson.

The midfielder, who has won two international caps for the Netherlands, impressed at this summer’s European Under-21 Championship – scoring two goals in four games.
