No Szczesny decision, says Wenger
Arsene Wenger has confirmed that he has not made a decision on the long-term future of goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny.
Szczesny, 22, has lost his place as Arsenal's first choice after a dip in form, but Wenger said rumours that he could try to bring in another ‘keeper were "only speculation".
"A lot of people speak about that, but we are not especially after anybody,” he explained.
"What is important is that we look at how we finish the season, how well we play and make the decisions who to buy and who to sell at the end of the season.
"We are in a competitive world. He [Szczesny] has nearly played 100 games for this club and, at his age, that is absolutely fantastic.
"He is a very young goalkeeper. You do not find very many goalkeepers at his age who have the experience he has already.
"That's why I believe he has a great future, but he lives in a world where competition exists.”
