Luis Enrique has 'unwavering faith' Barcelona can rally against PSG

Luis Enrique has "unwavering faith" that Barcelona can get themselves back into their Champions League tie against Paris Saint-Germain after they hammered Celta Vigo 5-0 at Camp Nou on Saturday.

The Barca boss described the display against Celta as one of the best in the last few months before turning his attention to Wednesday's game against PSG, which the Blaugrana go into four goals down after a crushing first-leg defeat at the Parc des Princes.

However, they go into it full of belief after a brace from Lionel Messi and goals from Neymar, Samuel Umtiti and Ivan Rakitic returned them to the top of table in La Liga.

"I couldn't say if it was our best performance of the season, because we have had lots of good games," Luis Enrique said in his postgame news conference.

"But it was one of the best in recent months. There were lots of goals, which is good for confidence and will strengthen the players.

"We have a tough tie now -- a tie which has been lost beforehand in Paris -- but if we do things well... We've never had the chance to come back before because we have never been in this position, so it will be a test of fire."

Since the 4-0 loss in the first leg on Feb. 14 -- a scoreline no side has recovered from in Champions League history -- Luis Enrique has preferred not to speak in detail about what went wrong.

With the return leg now around the corner, though, he admitted he has watched the game back more than any other game in a bid to find out what went wrong.

"It's not normal that [we were] beaten so heavily on the scoreboard and in terms of play, but this is sport," he added. "You have to accept when the opposition is better. PSG were better, but I hope we can get them back.

"It's a shame that Paris was our worst performance in three years. After analysing the game deeply -- spending more hours than on any other game -- [I can say] it was a culmination of a lot of things, but I hope we can turn it around in the second leg.

"We will take risks, but it will be difficult, we're not stupid, but I have unwavering faith that we can get back into the tie. We want an atmosphere which will helps us even more than normally."

As Barca eased into a 5-0 lead against Celta -- a result which would take them through on Wednesday -- Camp Nou broke into a chorus of "Yes we can" in reference to coming back against the French champions.

Luis Enrique's words will add to the supporters' belief, as will comments made by midfielder Ivan Rakitic after the game on Saturday.

"We're going to see what happens," the Croatian international said. "We're going to give everything until the last minute. We hope we can produce a miracle."
