Neymar set to start for Barcelona against Malaga - Luis Enrique

Barcelona star Neymar is set to start against Malaga on Saturday despite only returning to training on Friday.

The Brazil captain spent last week in South America on international duty, helping his country secure World Cup qualification wins against Argentina and Peru.

But Barca coach Luis Enrique said that would not affect his availability and also confirmed that Paco Alcacer, still in search of his first Barca goal, would start in place of the suspended Luis Suarez.

"Neymar will be ready for the game," Luis Enrique told a news conference on Friday. "He has trained with his teammates. The South American players are used to these types of trips, and all the [available] players are ready to compete and play."

He said he wanted Alcacer's objective "not to be to score goals, but to help the team win" and added: "It's a big opportunity for him.

"Forwards need minutes, and I think it's good for Paco. I think he will play well but the result is what's important -- not just for him but for all the players."

Barcelona will also welcome back Gerard Pique, Jordi Alba and Jeremy Mathieu following injury layoffs.

"It's good to recover all the players who were injured, not just Alba or Pique," Luis Enrique said. "Every player that we're getting back, especially after suffering more injuries than normal, is positive news."

The game comes too soon for Andres Iniesta, despite his recovery from a knee injury being ahead of schedule.

However, Luis Enriuque would not set a date for the midfielder's comeback, with the Clasico against Real Madrid looming on Dec. 3.

A win against Malaga side could see Barca end the weekend at the top of the table if Real Madrid drop points against city rivals Atletico, but Luis Enrique said: "I only care about the three points -- that's what we control. If we get three points and go top, fine."
