Celta Vigo goalkeeper Sergio Alvarez believes his Barcelona counterpart Marc-Andre ter Stegen is taking unnecessary risks by regularly choosing to play with his feet. Ter Stegen apologised to his Barca teammates for his second-half blunder during Sunday's 4-3 defeat at Celta but said he would not change his style. With Celta leading 3-2 in the 76th minute, the Germany international attempted to make a pass to Barca left-back Jordi Alba, only for Pablo Hernandez to close him down, block the ball, before diverting it into the back of the net. "He is a goalkeeper that likes to play with his feet and always assumes risks," Alvarez told Cadena Ser. "You need to differentiate when you can play with your feet and when you have to kick it up in the air." Ter Stegen made headlines in the Spanish media on Monday with Marca showing a photograph of the keeper on its front page, with the headline: "Show by Celta ... and by Ter Stegen." AS went even further and had a full-page photograph of Hernandez celebrating his goal as Ter Stegen looked on, with the caption: "Ter Stegen comforted Real Madrid" -- in reference to Madrid's 1-1 draw to Eibar on Sunday. Ter Stegen was also criticised for Celta's opener, with a bad pass from the keeper not reaching Sergio Busquets, allowing Pino Sisto to fire a low strike into the back of the net. Sport had Ter Stegen on its front page with the headline: "What gifts!" -- in reference to the keeper's mistakes during the game.
