Luis Suarez wants Barcelona to finish job vs. Sevilla in Spanish Super Cup

Luis Suarez has said the Spanish Super Cup is "far from" decided despite the fact Barcelona will take a 2-0 lead into the second leg against Sevilla at Camp Nou on Wednesday.

The Uruguay international opened the scoring in Sunday's first-leg win, with Munir El Haddadi adding the second, but he's not taking anything for granted as Luis Enrique's side look to get their hands on their first trophy of the new season.

"The Super Cup is not won," Suarez told Spanish television channel Telecinco. "We had to give everything [to win the first leg]. It seems we're condemned to having to play 95 minutes at the highest level, but we know how it is at Barca.

"We were great in the second half against a new rival who presented a lot of difficulties, but this final is not decided yet, far from it."

Barca were without Neymar at the Sanchez Pizjuan due to his participation at the Olympic Games, but Arda Turan, who stepped in for the Brazilian, proved an able deputy.

Suarez praised the quality of the Turkey international, who created the Catalan side's first goal with a chested pass.

He added: "Arda didn't play in his usual position, but he's a great player, with excellent quality and he demonstrated that with his pass to me for the first goal."

Denis Suarez, meanwhile, who made his competitive debut for the club as a replacement for the injured Andres Iniesta in the first half, felt Barca's fresher legs were the key to the win.

"They applied pressure really high and made it difficult for us to bring the ball out, they were fresh at the beginning," the former Sevilla player said to reporters.

"But they didn't have any clear chances, and in the second half, when they tired, we changed [our play] and found more space."
