Munir El-Haddadi and Sergi Samper agree new Barcelona contracts

Barcelona youngsters Munir El-Haddadi and Sergi Samper have agreed new contracts at the Camp Nou.

El-Haddadi, 20, and Samper, 21, came through Barca's La Masia youth system and have been involved with the first team through recent seasons.

Madrid-born Munir was first backup for attackers Lionel Messi, Neymar and Luis Suarez during the 2015-16 campaign, when he scored nine goals in all competitions for Barca.

A club statement read: "FC Barcelona and Munir El Haddadi have reached an agreement for the contract renewal of the player for the next three seasons, lasting until 30 June 2019.

"The minimum fee release clause has been set at 60 million euros. The signing of the contract will take place on Tuesday, at 12.30pm CET at the club's offices, which will then be followed by a brief photo session."

Barcelona-raised Samper joined the club aged six and has been tipped to make an impact for some time, although he has had limited first-team action under Luis Enrique.

Since making his senior debut in autumn 2014, the midfielder has mostly been playing for Barca B, for whom he was captain last season.

A club statement read: "FC Barcelona and Sergi Samper have reached an agreement to extend the deal of the young midfielder for an additional three years, until 30 June 2019, with the option of an additional year.

"The minimum fee release clause has been set to 50 million euros. The signing of the contract will take place on Tuesday 19 July at 1.30pm CET at the club offices which will be immediately followed by a photo session."
