Barcelona legend Johan Cruyff has hit out at what he sees as kneejerk criticism of coach Luis Enrique.
A late Luis Suarez-inspired comeback saw Barca win 2-1 at Almeria on Saturday, avoiding what would have been a third consecutive La Liga defeat for the first time in over a decade.
Although the Blaugrana are second in the Primera Division, many fans and pundits have voiced frustration, with concerns ranging from a direct playing style to the reported ostracising of centre-back Gerard Pique for using his mobile phone on the substitutes' bench.
But ex-Barca player and coach Cruyff told La Gazzetta dello Sport it was too early to be making strong judgments about Enrqiue, reminding the critics that everyone had been praising the new-look team's start to the season a few weeks ago.
"We have just had 11 games," Cruyff said. "In the first seven or eight, Barca were up in heaven, and now they have fallen. There is a new coach, new players, and they need to settle in. You cannot judge Luis Enrique in 10 weeks."
Cruyff made his comments while in Italy at the inauguration of a "Cruyff Court" at the Campus Borgonovo -- a facility established to help research Lou Gehrig's disease, which led to the early death of former AC Milan and Fiorentina player Stefano Borgonovo last June.
