Brisbane Roar coach John Aloisi says he has not walked out on the crisis-torn A-League club but wants their off-field issues resolved once and for all.
Aloisi and football operations manager Craig Moore have reportedly issued an ultimatum to their Indonesian owners: remove managing director Daniel Cobb or they will quit themselves.
AAP understands the relationship between the football department and Cobb, the Roar's prospective new majority owner, has become untenable.
Few at the club were able to make contact with Cobb while he was on his recent trip to Europe to scout players and find possible co-investors, leaving Aloisi and Moore frustrated and unable to make major football decisions.
Cobb is back in Brisbane but clearly yet to win over the former Socceroo pair -- but speaking at training on Tuesday, Aloisi said he was still committed to Brisbane Roar and making it the best club it could be.
"The same goes for Craig Moore and our staff," he said. "The ownership uncertainty has been a constant throughout my time in Brisbane but we are a resilient group.
"We went within a game of the grand final despite the distractions.
"Of course, we want stability and long-term certainty but that's a matter for others.
"I want the Roar family to rally behind the club. That's what is important today."
Melbourne businessman Cobb whose companies have previously sponsored A-League club Adelaide United, AFL side Port Adelaide and Football Federation Victoria -- claimed in June he was the head of a consortium poised to buy the Roar off the Bakrie Group, the Indonesian conglomerate that currently owns the club.
Cobb was subsequently installed as managing director and interim CEO, but few details surrounding his plans for the club or the consortium he leads have emerged since.
