Tommy Oar helps Brisbane Roar top; Andy Keogh penalty hands Glory win

Tommy Oar came off the bench to set up Brisbane Roar's 88th-minute winner in a 3-2 home victory that all but ends Sydney FC's A-League finals hopes.

Filip Holoskos' second put the Sky Blues level with three minutes remaining, but straight from the restart, the Roar conjured up a brilliant match-winner.

Corona found Jamie MacLaren on the left flank, who played in Oar and his perfect centre enabled super sub Henrique to side-foot home an open goal and send the 14,897 crowd at Suncorp Stadium into raptures.

The Roar go top with the victory that came with another goal from Maclaren, his 18th of the season, after Holosko had given the visitors an early lead.

The Sky Blues now sit six points adrift of sixth-placed Melbourne Victory with two games remaining. They must now win both games and hope the Victory, who have a six goals better goal difference, lose their remaining fixtures.

Andy Keogh scored an 88th-minute penalty -- his seventh goal in seven matches to tie an A-League record -- as the Perth Glory beat the Newcastle Jets 2-1 on Saturday.

Hungarian Krisztian Vadocz shot through traffic in a goalmouth scramble from a corner in the 72nd minute to score for the Glory.

Keogh converted from the spot in the 88th to double their advantage after Jets captain Nigel Boogaard was given a straight red for a tackle on Keogh in the box despite appearing to take the ball first.

The Jets then appeared lucky to get their own penalty two minutes into injury time. Glory substitute Dino Djulbic was deemed to foul a sliding Morten Nordstrand in front of goal, with the 33-year-old given his marching orders for a second yellow card despite appearing to make little or no contact with the Dane.

Mateo Poljak stepped up to convert the penalty but it was too little too late for the home side.
