Juventus to face A-League All Stars
Serie A leaders Juventus have confirmed that they will be facing the Australian A-League All Stars in a pre-season friendly next August.

The fixture has been scheduled for August 10 at Sydney's ANZ Stadium. The Bianconeri follow on from Manchester United, who faced the A-League All Star team last year and it will most probably see Alessandro Del Piero come up against his former club.
With the Italian Supercoppa pencilled in for August 14 in Beijing, should Juve qualify for that match, they are expected to spend some time in the Far East and Australasia.
"We're delighted to play in such a fascinating country and to face the best players in Australian football," said Juve's general manager Giuseppe Marotta.
"Furthermore, we cannot wait to visit a fantastic city like Sydney."
Juventus president Andrea Agnelli confirmed the club will bring a full strength squad for the match.
"Juventus has a responsibility to its millions of fans to present our heritage and our qualities in the best way possible,” Agnelli said.
Football Federation Australia CEO David Gallop said the match against the reigning Italian champions was a huge chance for the A-League to test itself against one of the best teams in the world.
“This will be a night to remember,” Gallop said. “The confirmation of Juventus as the opponent for the FOXTEL A-League All Stars is another boost to the growing international stature of the Hyundai A-League.
“The All Stars concept is all about presenting the A-League on the world stage and the presence of Juventus FC in Sydney will guarantee huge domestic and international interest. It's also a great opportunity for A-League players and coaches to test themselves at the highest level.”
Del Piero is likely to be selected for the All Stars and will therefore face the club he represented for 19 years of his career. It will be his first game against them since moving Down Under last year.
