Besiktas boss 'love' to have Ronaldinho
Besiktas coach Slaven Bilic admitted he would ‘love’ to bring World Cup winner Ronaldinho to the Turkish club.
Former World Player of the Year Ronaldinho sparked his Brazilian club Atletico Mineiro to the final of the Copa Libertadores where they claimed a memorable two-legged victory over Olimpia in a penalty shoot-out.
Down 2-0 from the first-leg against the Paraguay club, Ronaldinho and his team-mates clawed their way back into the final, sending the tie into extra time in the final moments of the game before sealing the victory with a 4-3 win in the shoot-out.
And now speculation is linking Ronaldinho back to Europe, with Bilic praising the 33-year-old former Paris Saint-Germain, Barcelona and AC Milan player.
"I would love to have Ronaldinho in my squad," the former Croatia boss told reporters, as reported on Goal.com.
"He might be a little older now, but I think that he still has at least two good years in him. Even at his age, he would contribute a lot to Besiktas and could help us to the next level.
"Let's not talk about it too much, though, at this stage."
