Atlanta United duo Josef Martinez and Jacob Peterson return to training

Injured Atlanta United duo Josef Martinez and Jacob Peterson have returned to training, according to the Atlanta Constitution.

Martinez, Atlanta's leading scorer with five goals, has missed the past five matches due to a quadriceps injury he picked up while on international duty with Venezuela.

Peterson has missed the four previous games because of an ankle injury.

United have fared decently in the duo's absence, posting a record of 1-2-2 with four of those matches coming on the road.

Atlanta's haul of eight points on the road are the most in MLS at present, and its average pickup of 1.6 points per road match ranks third in MLS behind the Portland Timbers (1.75) and FC Dallas (1.67).
