Paris Saint-Germain are one of three European clubs leading the chase for Roma centre-back Marquinhos after making an offer for the highly-rated Brazilian.
Barcelona and Manchester United have also made bids for Marquinhos, 19, who impressed in Serie A last season - his first in Europe following a move from Corinthians in his native Brazil.
On Monday, Corriere dello Sport reported that PSG and Roma had reached agreement on a €35 million deal for the player.
His agent, Roberto Calenda, told Sky Italia a move was in the offing, but stressed that the French champions were not the only club courting his client.
"Roma has told us that there is the possibility of a sale, and we'll respect the decision they take,” he said. “There are offers from PSG, Barcelona and Manchester United, and it's possible the club accepts one of those."
