Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin will donate more than £19,000 to those affected by the Grenfell Tower fire disaster in London. Bellerin's donation fulfils a pledge he made ahead of the Under-21 European Championship, when he said he would donate £50 for every minute he played in the tournament. That added up to £19,050 as Spain reached the final, with Bellerin playing 381 minutes in total. At least 80 people were killed when flames engulfed Grenfell Tower, a 24-storey council housing block in north Kensington, north-west London, in the early hours of June 14. Bellerin's pledge followed Manchester City winger Raheem Sterling's donation to help those affected. Sterling grew up in north-west London and began his career in the youth team at Queens Park Rangers, whose Loftus Road Stadium is around a mile from the scene of the disaster. Several other footballers have also pledged to give money to funds set up to help those affected.
