Aaron Ramsey returns to Arsenal training after month on sidelines

Aaron Ramsey has given Arsene Wenger a much-needed fitness boost after returning to Arsenal training ahead of Tuesday's crucial Champions League clash against Dinamo Zagreb.

Ramsey, 24, has not featured for the Gunners since the 2-0 defeat of Bayern Munich on Oct. 20 when he limped off in the second half with a hamstring injury.

Arsenal's lengthy list of absentees grew on Saturday after Francis Coquelin and Mikel Arteta both picked up injuries during the 2-1 loss at West Bromwich Albion, joining Theo Walcott, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Danny Welbeck, Tomas Rosicky and Jack Wilshere in the treatment room.

Wenger revealed on Monday that Coquelin will be sidelined for at least two months with a knee problem, but he will be boosted by Ramsey's return to training.

According to the Press Association, Oxlade-Chamberlain could be in contention for Sunday's Premier League game at Norwich despite not yet being back in training due to a hamstring problem, while Walcott is still out for another three weeks with a calf injury.

Arsenal go into Tuesday's game against Dinamo needing to win if they are to have any hope of reaching the last 16 of the Champions League.

The Gunners also need Bayern to see off Olympiakos, before beating the Greek side themselves by at least two goals or by a score of 4-3 or higher in their final group game next month.
