Arsene Wenger has played down Arsenal's next Premier League game against Chelsea as being a potential title decider, but has challenged his side to record a "perfect" run-in after a 1-0 win at Burnley.
Aaron Ramsey scored the only goal of the game in the the 12th minute following a goalmouth scramble, although Arsenal had to contend with Burnley's ever-increasing attacks to earn their win at Turf Moor.
George Boyd missed a glorious chance to equalise and Danny Ings also came close for Burnley, but Arsenal managed to record an eighth successive victory which keeps them within sight of Chelsea at the top of the table.
Arsenal, four points off the top, face off against Chelsea on April 26 -- after the Gunners' FA Cup semifinal against Reading on April 18 -- but when asked if that clash would decide the title, Wenger said: "I don't think so.
"At the moment, [they have] two games in hand, but we keep going and that is the most important thing that we keep that consistency. That's why the win was so important for us.
"Nothing has changed -- we need a perfect run and we need a non-perfect run from them but we can't master that, we can only master our own position.
"We want to keep winning because we have to look behind us as well at Manchester United and Manchester City. We are consistent and we have a good attitude in the team so it is a challenge for the team and we have to focus and win the next game."
Wenger praised Burnley for making Arsenal work hard for the victory, saying: "It was a battling performance today, more than a fluent performance. We put it down to the quality of Burnley.
"They were perfectly organised, to maintain organisation and pressing for 90 minutes, you have to congratulate the manager. I think they deserve to stay in the league.
"The last 20 minutes it was a bit easier for us, but for the whole game they made life difficult for us."
Match-winner Ramsey -- making his 150th Premier League appearance on Saturday -- was relieved to earn another win on the road, telling Sky Sports: "It was definitely one of the tougher games. A lot of the big teams have dropped points here this season.
"It proved another difficult game and another test that we got through. We were pretty solid and dealt with the threat -- they like to get forward.
"Maybe in the past we've been guilty of trying to go forward and being punished. I thought we controlled the game pretty well.
"We were under pressure but we felt pretty comfortable defending and it was another win, and another win away from home."
