Arsene Wenger sweating on Kieran Gibbs injury ahead of Burnley clash

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has said the club will find out on Friday whether Kieran Gibbs' hip injury will keep him out of the weekend's home meeting with bottom of the table Burnley.

Gibbs, 25, limped off in the second half of Arsenal's 2-0 win at Sunderland last Saturday, with youngster Hector Bellerin coming on in his place.

Wenger is already with a number of key players, including right-back Mathieu Debuchy and centre-back Laurent Koscielny, through injury.

Speaking ahead of the Burnley game, he told the club's official website: "It is a hip problem. He [Gibbs] came off at Sunderland with 20 minutes to go. He is a doubt, but we'll know more tomorrow."

Gibbs has impressed at left-back for the Gunners this season, making 10 appearances in all competitions and scoring once.

The Frenchman added: "Apart from that, everyone should be available. Wilshere is back from suspension. We have no other injuries and no one else coming back into the squad."

Asked specifically about Serge Gnabry and Abou Diaby, he said: "They are not quite ready yet. Gnabry is closer than Diaby fitness-wise. He is a couple of weeks away."
