Welbeck left the field late on during the 1-0 win in Tallinn after he appeared to suffer an ankle injury and, according to reports, walked straight to the dressing room with the England physio.

However, manager Roy Hodgson indicated the situation was not as bad as first feared, and told reporters after the match: "I think he just rolled it slightly, but the doctors are not concerned about it all."

Welbeck has scored four goals for Arsenal since joining them on transfer deadline day.

The news on Welbeck -- who has scored four goals since making his 16 million-pound summer move from Manchester United -- should come as a positive boost for Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger, who could be without 11 key players for Saturday's Premier League clash against Hull.

Wenger is awaiting his club medics' evaluation of playmaker Mesut Ozil's knee injury despite the German Football Federation already announcing it expects him to be sidelined for up to three months.

Defender Laurent Koscielny withdrew from the France squad for their international friendlies against Portugal and Armenia with an Achilles problem.

And injuries to Aaron Ramsey, Olivier Giroud, Mikel Arteta, Mathieu Debuchy, Yaya Sanogo and David Ospina have left Wenger short, while Calum Chambers is also suspended for Saturday's clash at the Emirates Stadium.
