Gerardo Martino adds three players to Argentina friendly squad

BUENOS AIRES, Argentina -- Argentina coach Gerardo Martino has added three players from the national championship to a squad that will face El Salvador and Ecuador in international friendlies later this month in the United States.

On Tuesday, the Argentina manager added River Plate defender Ramiro Funes Mori, Independiente midfielder Federico Mancuello and Newell's Old Boys midfielder Maxi Rodriguez.

Martino named the European-based players last week, including Lionel Messi, Sergio Aguero and Gonzalo Higuain.

Argentina faces El Salvador on March 28 in Washington, and then plays Ecuador March 31 in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

Goalkeepers: Nahuel Guzman (Tigres), Sergio Romero (Sampdoria), Geronimo Rulli (Real Sociedad).

Defenders: Ezequiel Garay (Zenit), Pablo Zabaleta (Manchester City), Marcos Rojo (Manchester United), Facundo Roncaglia (Genoa), Mateo Musacchio (Villarreal), Lucas Orban (Valencia), Nicolas Otamendi (Valencia), Ramiro Funes Mori (River Plate).

Midfielders: Javier Pastore (Paris Saint-Germain), Angel Di Maria (Manchester United), Lucas Biglia (Lazio), Roberto Pereyra (Juventus), Ever Banega (Sevilla), Enzo Perez (Valencia), Javier Mascherano (Barcelona), Federico Mancuello (Independiente), Maxi Rodriguez (Newell's Old Boys).
