Lionel Messi back in Argentina squad for November friendlies

Argentina captain Lionel Messi is back in the national team squad after serving a three-month international ban.

The Barcelona forward was named in Lionel Scaloni's selection for the November friendlies against Brazil and Uruguay.

The list also includes Manchester City forward Sergio Aguero and Tottenham midfielder Giovani Lo Celso, with the two having sat out Argentina's last two friendlies through injury.

Manchester United defender Marcos Rojo is also one of seven Premier League based players included on the 26-man roster.

Messi last featured for Argentina in their 2-1 win over Chile on July 6 that saw the Albiceleste finish third in the Copa America.

The 32-year-old was banned by CONMEBOL for three months after alleging corruption in the tournament in Brazil. Without Messi, Argentina have won two and drawn two of their four friendlies since.

Argentina take on Brazil in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on Nov. 15 before ending the year against Uruguay in Tel Aviv, Israel, four days later.
