Justin Kluivert scores hat trick as Ajax thrash Roda JC

Justin Kluivert scored a hat trick as Ajax beat Roda JC in the Eredivisie, a feat that his father Patrick failed to achieve.

Kluivert, 18, scored his first goal in the 45th minute to bring Ajax level.

He then added his second in the 60th minute and a third with five minutes remaining. Kasper Dolberg and Donny van de Beek were also on the scoresheet.

The goals were Kluivert's first of the season in his ninth appearance.

Scoring three goals in one match in the Eredivisie is something his father never managed.

The former AC Milan and Barcelona striker played for Ajax between 1994 and 1997 and later PSV Eindhoven during 2006-07. He won two Eredivisise and the Champions League with Ajax and the Eredivisie with PSV.
