Adelaide has 'good respect' for Jeju ahead of must-win ACL match

Adelaide United plan to fight fire with fire in their pivotal Asian Champions League away match against Korea's Jeju United.

The Reds enter Tuesday night's match in last spot in their group -- their sole point point came from a draw at home against Jeju last month.

China's Jiangsu FC top Adelaide's group with nine points, ahead of Jeju (four points) and Japan's Gamba Osaka (three points).

Adelaide are forecasting an attacking approach from Jeju on Tuesday night but the A-League club's need for maximum points will also dictate their own aggressive approach, coach Guillermo Amor says.

"With our situation in the group, we are last in this moment but we have our possibilities," Amor said on Monday.

"We try to play our style, our football, we believe in this, we try always to win.

"It's good to have respect for Jeju in this case -- they're a good team, play at home, are strong and have good players.

"But we are here to play our system, our football. We try to win, always."

The last meeting of the clubs ended as a frantic 3-3 draw with Adelaide twice coming from behind to equalise.

The Reds arrived in Korea having rapidly moved on from Friday night's 1-0 A-League loss to Melbourne City, defender Dylan McGowan said.

"We are ready to play," McGowan said. "We are prepared to win the game.

"The last time we played Jeju was a very close game, it was obviously a draw, 3-3, and we're looking to go one better this time and hopefully get the three points."
